Which legal entity operates the service
Blackwell's is a trading name used by the company that owns and operates this website and the associated client platform.
The operating company is the entity you contract with when you accept our Terms of Use and establish an account. Its complete legal designation, its corporate structure, its registration details and the identity of the parent organization it is part of are detailed in the client agreement provided upon registration, and are available on request via the channels outlined in the "Obtaining documentation" section below.
Because legal structures, registration details and operational arrangements may be subject to change, we intentionally do not present them as permanent text within a promotional section. The client agreement and the documentation collection you are sent constitute the definitive reference; in cases where this page conflicts with those documents, the documents shall take precedence.
Group companies and service providers
Certain functions - technology hosting, payment processing, market data, customer identification tools - are carried out by specialist third-party providers under written agreements. The categories of provider we use, and the way your personal data is handled by them, are described in our Privacy Policy. We do not list provider identities on this page.
The regulatory framework we work within
We describe here the type of obligations that govern the service, rather than naming authorities or quoting reference numbers, which belong in the formal documentation.
- 01
Client identification
Every account is verified before funding, trading or withdrawal, in line with the KYC and AML controls described on our KYC & AML page.
- 02
Financial-crime prevention
Screening for sanctions exposure and financial crime risk, continuous oversight of fund movements, internal reporting protocols and document storage in accordance with applicable regulatory timeframes.
- 03
Handling of client money
Client funds are maintained in segregated accounts separate from the company's own operational capital, and disbursements are processed back to an authorized account held in the client's own name.
- 04
Fair and clear communication
Fees, markups and any relevant charges are displayed within your account and on our fee schedule. We do not guarantee particular performance outcomes, and all marketing content includes appropriate risk disclosures.
- 05
Data protection
Personal data is processed on a defined lawful basis, retained only as long as necessary, and protected by access controls and encryption in transit and at rest.
- 06
Complaints handling
A written internal complaints procedure with acknowledgement, investigation and a substantive reply within the timeframe stated when your complaint is logged.
Where a jurisdiction imposes stricter local requirements than those above, the stricter requirement applies to clients resident there.
Jurisdictions served and excluded
The service is offered only where we are permitted to offer it. Availability is assessed at registration on the basis of your country of residence, and it can change.
Where the service is offered
Accounts may be opened by residents of the countries listed as eligible in the registration flow of your account. If your country appears in that list and you pass verification, you can proceed. If it does not appear, the service is not available to you.
Where the service is not offered
- Countries and territories subject to applicable international sanctions or embargoes.
- Jurisdictions in which providing this category of service to non-professional clients demands a regulated licence that we do not possess.
- Jurisdictions designated as presenting elevated financial crime exposure according to current regulatory standards.
- Any region we have determined to restrict based on our own internal compliance assessments.
No solicitation
Nothing presented on this site is aimed at, or designed for dissemination to or utilization by, any individual in a jurisdiction where doing so would breach applicable legislation. Visiting this site from a restricted jurisdiction does not confer any entitlement to access the service. Should you relocate to a restricted jurisdiction while maintaining an active account, please notify us - the account may require suspension or termination and your funds will be remitted to you.
What Blackwell's is not
Being clear about what we do not do is as important as describing what we do.

How to obtain corporate and regulatory documentation
Clients, prospective clients and professional counterparties may request our corporate and compliance documentation. We provide it on request rather than publishing it openly.
What can be requested
- Verification of the service provider entity and its organizational structure.
- The current client agreement and the schedule of costs applicable to your account.
- A brief overview of our KYC and anti-money laundering protocols.
- The complaints-handling procedure and escalation route.
- Data-protection information relating to your own personal data.
How to make the request
- 01
Write to us
Use the contact route on our contact page. Put "Regulatory documentation request" in the subject line.
- 02
Identify yourself
State whether you are an existing client (and give the email address on the account) or a prospective client, and which documents you need.
- 03
Receive the pack
Documentation requests are fulfilled within the period advised upon acknowledgment of your submission. Certain materials may be furnished in abbreviated form where full versions contain proprietary or sensitive business information.
Documentation is delivered to the registered contact address in our records. We are unable to provide account-related materials to a third party absent explicit written consent from you.
Regulatory and compliance questions
Inquiries regarding our licensing status, our regulatory compliance framework, or matters requiring formal escalation should be directed to the regulatory contact rather than to standard customer service.
How do I raise a compliance question?
Send it through the contact page and mark it "Compliance". Include the account email address if you already hold an account, and describe the question in a sentence or two.
How do I make a formal complaint?
Use the same route and mark the message "Complaint". You will receive an acknowledgement, a reference and an indication of the timeframe for a substantive reply. If the outcome does not resolve the matter, the reply will explain the further escalation options available to you.
How do I report suspicious activity or misuse of our brand?
Visit the report abuse function. Claims of impersonation involving Blackwell's through communications, online promotions or fraudulent replicas must be submitted through this channel so corrective action can be initiated.
Are corporate or media inquiries processed through this channel?
Yes - send them through the contact page with a clear subject line and they will be routed to the right team.
